Cliftonville Academy's chase never really got going, not helped by three run-outs as they struggled to 97 for 7 in their 20 overs, as Henry Wylie made 22 and Alfie Wylie 15.

North Down captain Alex Fielding was the pick of the bowlers, having an excellent spell of 3 for 16.

The win came too late for North Down to participate in the All-Ireland U15 cup, with Cliftonville Academy winning a bowl-out earlier in the month to get the NCU slot.
