Derriaghy 99 (43.3 overs: Ivan Sinovich 25, Ryan Beckett 20; Callum Grieve 3-13, Peter Maxwell 2-14, Paul Stafford 2-19, Darwish Nazari 2-21)
Lurgan 98/4 (23 overs: Stephen Johnston 30, Reghard Els 23; Ivan Sinovich 2-9) (Rain interrupted - Lurgan target 98 in 46 overs.)

Lurgan moved into third place in the table with a 6-wickets (DLS) win over Derriaghy at Pollock Park. In a disappointing batting effort, the Queensway side could only get to a modest 99, thanks primarily to a late blast by top-scorer Ivan Sinovich who hit 3 sixes in his 25, and 20 from opener Ryan Beckett. Callum Grieve took three wickets, while there were two apiece for Paul Stafford, Peter Maxwell, and Darwish Nazari. A second wicket stand of 49 between Stephen Johnston (30) and Reghard Els (23) ensured the chase was fairly straightforward despite two wickets in two balls from Sinovich (2-9).

The league's top-scorer Atish Varape made 34 taking his season tally to 937 but received little support in a disappointing performance. The reply was one-sided with Adnan Malik hitting an even-time unbeaten 64 (6 fours, 4 sixes) sharing an unbroken second wicket stand of 76 with Adam Speers (16*) following the loss of opener Mark Thornbury (10).

Belfast v Templepatrick - Match postponed.
Templepatrick's wait to be crowned Section One champions goes on for another week after their game with Belfast fell victim to the weather. While their vastly superior NRR means they are champions in essence already, it will be rubber-stamped if they can beat Armagh next weekend.
