2024 was a relatively successful season for Cliftonville Academy who would have been well pleased with their fourth placed Premiership finish, winning 8 of their 14 matches.
Five batters passed the 400-run mark with Jared Wilson leading the way with 576 at 36 and an impressive strike/rate of 106.08. He scored one of the two hundreds they made at senior level as well as two 50's.
Overseas professional Abhishek Raut was a close second getting 566 at 35.38, hitting 5 half centuries.
Ireland Academy player Kian Hilton was CA's other centurion, helping him to 470 at 24.74. You can't help but think there's much more to come from the talented youngster now that he has a season under his belt.
Francis Collins showed glimpses of his power in his 465 at 27.35 (3 x 50s), as did Varun Chopra who made 424 runs at 28.27.
Only three bowlers passed the 20-wicket mark with Rory Bessell topping their charts with 30 at just 13.97.
Raut also claimed scalps at 17.40, while Matty McCord managed 25 wickets at 27.
Others who reached double figures were Ben Kane (15), Jared Wilson (13) and Andrew Forbes (12).
CA have already been active in the transfer market, not resting on their laurels for next season, and it wouldn't be a surprise if they strenghten further before the 2025 season starts.
