Cricket Ireland's new High Performance Director Graeme West is with the Ireland Women squad in Bangladesh.

West, who has previously had roles with Middlesex and West Indies, stepped into the job last month.

Ireland Women assistant coach Glenn Querl isn't on the tour, having been in South Africa with Ireland U19 Women last month, and who have an upcoming World Cup in Malaysia in January.

West won't have been impressed by the first ODI earlier today, which saw Ireland falter after a promising start in Mirpur, eventually losing by 154-runs - a record win for Bangladesh in ODI's.

Ed Joyce's side, who are notoriously slow starters, will be hoping for better fortunes in the second ODI on Saturday.
