Eglinton have confirmed the signing of Clayton Bosch as their overseas professional for the 2025 season.

The 32-year-old South African is an experienced all-rounder, being a middle-order right-handed batsman and rigth-arm medium pace bowler.

He played for the Knights Franchise averaging 21 in first-class cricket, 19.81 in List-A and 34 in T20 cricket.

With the ball he has taken 106 wickets across all the formats, with a best-bowling effort of 7 for 24.

Bosch will add to the depth and quality of Eglinton, who came agonisingly close to their first Premiership title in 52 years, losing out to eventual champions Donemana on NRR.

He will have fellow countryman Liam Doherty to help him acclimatise, with the 20-year-old one of the success stories of the 2024 campaign.
