There's good news in the offing for North West cricket fans with West Indies scheduled to play three T20I's at the County Tyrone venue next year.

Cricket Ireland have yet to officially unveil the playing schedule for 2025, but after a barren few years for men's international cricket in the region, the arrival of West Indies is a major boost.

You have to go back to September 2021 for the last time Bready was the venue for the senior men, when Ireland beat Zimbabwe 2-1 in a T20I series.

It's not all good news for Northern Irish fans though as Stormont isn't due to host any games for the men next year.

As expected, Malahide has been lined up for the three-match ODI series against England next September.

Also, for Dublin fans, Clontarf is due to host the West Indies ODI games.

There's no Test on Irish soil in 2025, but it could be a case of 5th, or is it 6th time lucky for the Euroslam which Cricket Ireland will finally hope gets underway in Malahide next August.

God loves a trier....
