Senior clubs will have the chance to return to 50 overs cricket if a proposal is passed by the clubs this week.
The proposal states that clubs in the top two divisions can opt for the change from the current 40 overs that has been in place for two years.
The NW is alone in the adoption of the 40 overs competition, which has been seen as being partly responsible for their truly horrific displays in the Irish Senior Cup, and underwhelming efforts by the Warriors at interpro level.
11am will be the start time for 50 overs games, although if both clubs agree, this can be put back to 12.
The Nedd have asked and been granted permission to revert back to League One, which means that the second tier will operate with just seven clubs in 2025.
