Mark Hanna is returning to Newbuildings for the 2026 season after spending just one season at Brigade.

The hard-hitting batsman was an integral part of the Newbuildings success in recent years, and his return is a boost for the Foyleview club.

There are reports that Josh Wilson may also be joining Newbuildings but that may be dependent on the points system that the NW operate.

If Jared Wilson - who is joining from Cliftonville Academy - counts as two points instead of one, then the two Wilsons wouldn't be able to play in the same team.

The North West clubs may opt to scrap the points system at their AGM, but there's certainly no guarantee that will happen.

Trent McKeegan is back in NW cricket next season, but just where remains to be seen.

It's understood that there have been interest from several clubs, amongst them being Brigade and Eglinton.
