Ardmore have unveiled two overseas signings as they attempt to bounce back to the Premiership at the first attempt.

Their new choice of professional is 27 year-old Sri Lankan Kasun Abeyrathne, who is a middle-order batsman who keeps wicket and also bowls occasional leg-spin.
He has a somewhat underwhelming batting record in his native Sri Lanka, where in the traditional batting friendly surfaces averages 28.31 across 47 first-class matches, although he does clearly have talent given his six centuries.
In List-A cricket, his average drops to just over 24, with three half centuries, while his T20 returns have him averaging just over 10.
He does have a five wicket haul among his nine wickets at just over 16.
Joining him at the Bleachgreen is Irish passport holding South African Matt Cuffe.
Cuffe is just 20 years old who plays for Pirates CC in Johannesburg, where he has taken 16 wickets in their Presidents A League.
He is primarily a leg-spin bowler who bats in the lower middle-order.
Hopefully the pair will reignite Ardmore in their request to return to the top echelons of local cricket after a disappointing 2025 season.
