It was a tough season for Killyclooney who finished sixth in the Championship and never really got going in any of the cup competitions.

That's not to say they didn't have their moments with Kenzie Hall having a fine season especially with the bat, while Timmy Dougherty and Matthew Campbell were their stand-out performers with the ball.

There were availability problems with the club using 29 players and their overseas professional Aron Visser missed a chunk of the campaign.

Visser still managed to top the run charts with 601 runs at 40.07, just ahead of skipper Hall, who made 598 runs at 33.22, inclusing two hundreds.

Timmy Dougherty weighed in with 354 runs at 18.63, just ahead of Andrew Neill who chipped in with 348 runs at 20.47.

Others worthy of mention were Alan Colhoun (192 runs), William Finlay (173 runs) and Alfie Moan (148 runs).

The bowling charts saw Timmy Dougherty lead the way with 31 scalps at 19.64, while Matthew Campbell can be pleased with his return of 27 wickets at 20.37.

Kenzie Hall was the only other to hit the 20-wicket mark - 20 at 18,75.

Others who reached double figures were Jason Wallace (12), Aron Visser (11) and Alfie Moan (10).

Killyclooney will no doubt look to hit the ground running in 2026, and if they can get their full strength side on the park most weeks, then they will be certainly no mugs, especially at Ballyheather Road.
