BALLYSPALLEN
- Captain: Kyle Morrow
- Overseas Player: Raveen Yasas
- Players In: Hassan Shahid
- Players Out: Isaac Bird
- Young Players to Watch: Dillan McElhinney and Jacob Blair
It's exciting times on and off the field at Ballyspallen who continue to improve and develop year on year.

Kyle Morrow takes over as captain and while Isaac Bird has flown the coop to Rush, they have benefitted from Hassan Shahid making the journey north, as well as a new overseas professional in Raveen Yasas.
Yasas is a 27 year-old Sri Lankan who is a left-handed batsman who averages over 30 in both List-A and first-class cricket, and who is also a more than useful left-arm slow bowler.

Ballyspallen have an excellent youth set-up and ethos and have identified Dillan McElhinney and Jacob Blair as two youngsters to keep an eye on.
"There have been several changes to the squad ahead of the new season," club skipper Kyle Morrow told CricketEurope. "We are pleased to welcome our overseas professional, Raveen Yasas, along with Hassan Shahid, to the club, and we wish Isaac Bird every success as he moves on to Rush.

"While we have a relatively young squad, there is a strong sense of optimism that the team can be competitive and cause a number of upsets throughout the season.
"Our younger players will be afforded significant opportunities, providing them with invaluable experience at senior level.
"There is considerable excitement within the club as the season approaches, particularly with the introduction of a 3rd XI for the first time in the club’s history."
Exciting times indeed at the 'Spallen.
