After challenging for trophies in recent years, Woodvale found 2025 more of a challenge and have added some depth and quality to their ranks with four signings.

Ross Bryans, Patrick Tice, Francis Collins and Evan Carlisle all arrive at Ballygomartin Road, while there is stability in maintaining Ludwig Kaestner as their overseas professional and Ruhan Pretorius as their captain.

"We are all looking forward to the season, with a great energy around the club and the new faces bringing in some real drive to make a difference and impress," Pretorius told CricketEurope.

"As club captain I am excited about the squad, as for the first time guys have bit of competition for their spots which creates a healthy environment for people to thrive and grow.

"One young players to keep a watch on is Evan Carlisle, who brings a lot of excitement being a left-arm seam bowler and his hard work over the past few years have brought some real growth and success to his own career.

"We are looking to push for silverware in all competitions, but also knowing this year is for opportunity as there is no relegation in the league. We will be sure to have all our bases covered to be ready for this season and next year, as we want to be a top four team in the Premiership."

Exciting times ahead at Woodvale.
