LURGAN

* Director of Cricket: Morne Strydom
* Overseas professional: Liam Doddrell
* First Team Captain: Stephen Johnston
* Players out: No outgoings
* Incomings: Kris Lynness, Ivan Sinovich

Lurgan enjoyed another successful season in 2025 and will be looking for more of the same in 2026.

They have a new overseas professional in Australian Liam Doddrell, who is a former Australian U19 international who was also on the fringes of the Sydney Thunder Big Bash set-up.

They haven't lost any players, while they have secured the services of former Waringstown paceman Kris Lyness, while Ivan Sinovich arrives from Derriaghy. Those pair will definitely add some bite to the attack.

Stephen Johnston is captain once again and is looking forward to the season start next week.

"We are keen to build on two strong seasons competing at the top half of Senior One.

"The League is an extremely competitive and enjoyable one to play in. Every week you need to be on your top game to get four points.

"Our target is to be challenging for a top two finish come the end of the season.:

On the young talent coming through at Pollock Park he added:

"We have a few players in the NCU under age setup that we hope to start to blend into the first team throughout the year. Sufyan Mohammed being a key name potentially to keep an eye out for in the later half of the season."

Lurgan will certainly be in the mix for promotion once again this season.
