DONACLONEY MILL
- Captain: Matthew Lyttle
- Players In: None
- Players out: Judd Markham out (overseas from last year)
- Overseas professional: Lachlan Aitken
- Young players to watch: Ryan Matthews, Alex Ogle and Lewis Goodbarn.
Donacloney Mill had a steady season in 2025, recording eight league wins to finish in a very respectable sixth place in Section One.

They have had a quiet off-season with their only major movement being a change in overseas professional. The explosive Judd Markham has traded up to the Premiership, while his replacement is the highly rated Lachlan Aitken, who like Markham hails from the Brisbane based Gold Coast Brisbane.
The 21-year-old is a wicketkeeper batsman who has represented Australia Under 19's, so is clearly no dozer.
There is a good crop of youngsters at DM, with Ryan Matthews having a good season with the bat last year. Alex Ogle is a 16-year-old who won Section One Player of the Year, almost topping the wickets chart in his maiden year of first-team cricket. Completing the trio to look out for is fellow 16-year-old Lewis Goodbarn, who opened the bowling for a good portion of last year, and is expected to continue on his upward trajectory as he gains experience.
"For the season ahead we hope to be competing at the top end of Section 1 again this year which we did for most of last year until a bad run of games after July," said captain Matthew Lyttle.
"Also I would love a good run in the T20 and National Cups, two cups that we look forward to competing in every year.
"We are also looking forward to bringing in more young players throughout the season and exposing them to senior cricket."
It's shaping up to be an exciting time on and off the field at Donacloney Mill.
