Michael Waite was the Man-of-the-Match as Waringstown beat Muckamore to win the Lagan Valley Steels T20 Plate trophy held over from last year.

Four wickets from Luka Bates (4-24) had the Lawn side in real strife at 88 for 6, but Waite top-scored with 69 from just 48 balls (7 fours, 3 sixes), adding 70 in seven overs with Andrew Magennis (26) to take them to a total of 160 for 8.
It didn't look to be enough as Jamie Jackson and Luke Allen shared an opening stand of 124 in 14 overs to break the back of the chase.
Allen hit 8 fours in his 51, while Jackson's 48-ball 70 included 7 fours and 3 sixes.
However, the contest was turned on its head as both fell in quick succession to Zayan Malik.
The nerves then kicked in and it was anyone's contest with four needed from the ffnal two balls.

Waite though had the final say and he didn't concede any from those deliveries to seal a three-run win.
