The University of Galway second XI recorded a whopping 371-run win over Athlone at The Lydican on Sunday in one of the most one-sided contests of all time in Ireland.
Batting first, Galway racked up 390 for 7 in their 40 overs with Sanjeev Kataria hitting 17 fours and 5 sixes in a 123-ball top score of 172.
Karthik Annand also hit five sixes in a rapid unbeaten 40, while Ravo Sahani (3-63) would have been one of the few Athlone bowlers not afraid to examine their figures at the break.
It didn't get much better for the Athlone batters who were skittled out for just 19 in the 11th over.
Karthik Annand and Naveen Senthil each taking four wickets on a memorable day for the club.
