O'BRIEN LAUNCHES ELITE HIGH PERFORMANCE CAMP
Kevin O'Brien is hosting an elite high-performance camp in Dublin next month.

The four-day event takes place from the 22nd to 25th June in Railway Union from 10am to 4pm.
"We will be looking at working on all the cricket skills, batting, bowling, fielding, wicketing etc," said O'Brien. "We will also be incorporating some mental preparation and skills with Cormac McLoughlin-Gavin who played for Leinster Lightining for many years, and also an introduction to S&C with Chris Coburn.
"We will be based at Railway Union and have the indoor facilities there so we are guaranteed four full days no matter what the weather. It's aimed at both boys and girls from 13-18 and each sign-up will get a performance kit, including an Academy hoodie, tee-shirt and a beanie hat.
O'Brien explained the rationale behind the camp.
"I just think there's a gap and a need in the market for teenagers to access quality coaching who aren't involved with representative squads.
"It's a great opportunity to help these kids improve and develop. Not everyone develops at the same pace and it's a great chance for these 'late bloomers' to unleash their full potential that may have been missed at an earlier stage in their young lives.
"The big thing for me that is unique to our programme is the mental preparation side and the quality of the coaches we have.
"There's the added bonus too of us bringing some extra special guests, including ex-Irish internationals as well as myself to add valuable expertise.
"All in all, it's going to be a hugely advantageous camp. Spaces are limited so if people are interested, please get in touch as soon as possible to reserve their place."
