SCOTS UMPIRING TRIO APPOINTED TO ICC PANEL A LIST

Three Scottish match officials have been appointed to the ICC Development Panel A list.

Iain McDonald, David McLean and Ryan Milne have joined colleagues from Netherlands, Germany, Finland and Gibraltar in being selected for a two-year term until May 2028.

The three were selected following a competitive application process and are set to officiate at the forthcoming Women’s T20 International Tri-Series between Scotland, Bangladesh and Netherlands in Edinburgh later this month.

Nic Wilson, Head of Growth and Social Impact, said: “On behalf of everyone at Cricket Scotland I’d like to congratulate Iain, David and Ryan on their appointments.

“It is fantastic that three of eight members of the Panel are from Scotland. All have international experience already, so credit must go to each of them for not only being excellent umpires, but also great ambassadors for Scottish cricket. We must also give thanks and credit to the CSMOA who have clearly played a major role in their development.

“These appointments will provide all three with further opportunities to officiate at international events and allow them to continue their development as match officials as part of an ICC panel.”
