Rob O'Brien was the star of the show as The High School beat Wesley College to claim the Leinster Schools' Cup with a 76-run win.

The Ireland Under-19 international displayed all the renowned family traits of excellence in adversity as he top-scored with an excellent 74 to take the High School to 126-6 in their 20 overs.

Captain Tom Squires had rocked the hosts with two wickets in the opening over, but O'Brien dug in and got his team to what would prove a match-winning total.

Wesley College's chase never got going as they were scuttled for just 50, with Terenure's Ben Dillon taking four wickets, well supported by fellow opening bowler Eli Clarke.
