North West Warriors completed the double over Northern Knights at Eglinton with a crushing 127 runs victory on a day full of stoppages and one major injury.

Kian Hilton broke his thumb while keeping wicket – Ruhan Pretorius took over for the final seven overs - so was unable to bat and with Ross Adair having to come in at number seven, after tweaking a knee in the field, and captain Matthew Humphreys and Paul Stirling again missing, it was a depleted Knights side that completed the inter-provincial Cup with a fourth defeat in their fourth game.
Every Warriors batter made double figures in their total of 277 for seven but despite four reaching 45, Gavin Roulston was best with 56. The only good news on the day for Knights was the return of Mark Adair who bowled eight overs (for 48) and he then top scored with 44 from 31 balls (three fours, three sixes).
Shane Dadswell was the replacement opening batter but failed to survive the first ball, bowled by a beauty from Liam McCarthy at the start of a fast, impressive opening spell.
Ryan Macbeth, bowled his 10 overs off the reel, taking four for 55 and Trent McKeegan chipped in with three wickets, including the last, at the start of the 27th over, to send them into next week's final in Pembroke against Leinster Lightning in winning form.
