There's been a rebranding over the close season at Belmont with the artist formerly known as CIYMS now being known as CI.

With no relegation from the NCU Premiership in 2026, the club have opted to not bring in an overseas professional for the current campaign.
That's no say there won't be a number of new faces gracing Belmont with no fewer than five new faces swelling their ranks.
The most exciting of those is probably Charlie Swart, who arrives from Templepatrick with a huge reputation as a destructive batsman. he will be joined by Sathish Suresh, Jack Snell, Paddy Beverland and Adam McCormick.

That certainly adds depth and quality to the playing squad at CI, while they have achieved continuity by keeping John Matchett in the captaincy role.
"Everyone at CI is very excited for the season to begin," said Macthett. "We have a number of exciting players joining the club which will really add to the strength of the squad and I expect there to be a lot of competition for places on a weekly basis.
"We had a very positive league campaign last year so we hope to build on that this year and continue to compete at the top half of the table, knowing we can beat anyone on our day.

"We have had really good numbers at pre-season training to date and with the recent arrival of Charles Swart now have the full squad training together ready to hit the ground running come the start of the season."
CI start their season on April 25th with a home clash against Waringstown. In the cups they are away to North Down in the Challenge Cup, while they will have home advantage over Phoenix in the Irish Senior Cup.
