Allen Coulter is calling time on his career at CIYMS.

The veteran seamer has been at Belmont since 2016 when he arrived from CSNI, taking 208 wickets at 21.80 for CIYMS in 161 matches.

It isn't clear if the 40-year-old is planning on hanging up the boots or looking to prolong his career at another Premiership side.

On a statement on X (formerly Twitter) CIYMS said:

"Allen Coulter has indicated to the club that he is bringing the curtain down on a trophy laden CI career.
Whether retiring to the fairways or playing elsewhere in 2025 AC leaves having won everything there is to win, 13 Medals in his pocket including the Irish Cup."

Since CricketEurope records began in 2006, the former Ireland U19 and A international's haul of 424 wickets is only bettered by Andrew White and Kyle McCallan.

One possible avenue for Coulter could be a switch to Muckamore, with the reigning Challenge Cup holders believed to be keen on the addition of the talented veteran.
