The Emerging Knights recovered from a poor start to beat the Emerging Warriors by 64 runs at The Lawn. Josh Wilson (3-65) and Ryan McAuley (2-69) had the hosts in trouble at 24 for 3 and 121 for 5, but the middle-order recovered with half centuries for Carson McCullough 87 (9 fours, 2 sixes) and Kian Hilton 55 (6 fours, 2 sixes), as well as breezy cameos from Charlie Swart (37) and Ryan Matthews (22) in a total of 285. Isaac Bird was a man in a hurry as he thumped 7 sixes and 6 fours in a 37-ball 76, but once he was bowled by the excellent Harry Dyer (2-37) normality was restored. Wickets for Carson McCullough (3-45), Kian Hilton (2-22) and Evan Carlisle (2-27) ensured the Knights were always in control despite late bursts from Jared Wilson (41) and Ben Calitz (30).

Freddie Robinson (3-15) and Callum Lowe (2-8) proved the NCU match winners in a tense chase, while three run outs didn't help the NW side who battled well throughout.
