Glendermott have confirmed the signing of South African all-rounder Rubin Hermann for the 2025 campaign.

The 27-year-old comes with an impressive pedigree and track record in his native country, where he averages just over 31 in both first-class and T20 cricket, and a very healthy 48.76 in his 31 List-A matches, with four hundreds and five half centuries.

Hermann is a top-order left-hander, who bowls occasional off-spin and also keeps wicket.

He was due to play for Killyclooney in 2024 but never made it to Ireland.

Glendermott will be hoping Hermann hits the ground running at the Rectory as the Waterside clubs looks to make a sustained promotion bid to return to the top flight of the Premiership.
