Ireland U19's scheduled World Cup warm-up match against South Africa was cancelled on Monday following travel troubles at Cape Town meant their opponents arrival was delayed.
The Irish instead played a Malaysian gather up side to give them some practice for the tournament.
Unfortunately it wasn't much of a game as the hosts crawled to 30 for 4 in 20 overs with a wicket apiece for Jenny Jackson, Kia McCartney, skipper Niamh McNulty, and a run out.
Giiven the modest target it was agreed to have a revised total and Ireland reached 158 in 18.4 overs with nobody actually dismissed - just a procession of 'retired hurts'.
Alice Walsh and Rebecca Lowe both scored 26 as they added 66 for the opening wicket before heading for the shade after the powerplay.

Annabel Squires and Julie McNally both hit 17, while there were also double figures for Lara McBride (16), Niamh McNulty (15*), and Ellie McGee (11).
Ireland are due to play the official Malaysia Under 19 side on Wednesday.
Their squad has been severely depleted with the withdrawals of Alice Tector (stress fracture of the back), Amy Hunter (foot stress fracture), and Aimee Maguire (reported for suspect bowling action).
The Irish play England in their opening match on Saturday (Jan 18), before matches against USA (Jan 20) and Pakistan (Jan 22).
