After winning three out of four ODIs on their tour of Oman, USA ended what was a successful tour on-field with a 3-0 series sweep in a T20I series against the Omanis with the third and final game taking place today in Al Amerat.
The series began on Thursday with Oman scoring 190-5 after being put in by USA captain Monank Patel, largely thanks to Aamir Kaleem's unbeaten 72 from 50 balls. He was outdone by USA number three Saiteja Mukkamalla though, with the New Jersey born batter smashing an unbeaten 100 from only 48 balls to help secure a seven wicket win with an over to spare.
The result of the toss for Friday's second T20I was the same, with Oman put into bat. Only three of their batters reached double figures in their 20 over score of 141-9, with Jatinder Singh's 57 their top score. Ali Khan was the pick of the bowlers with 3-23.
USA captain Monank Patel was the match winner for the visitors this time with 73 not out from 53 balls in the four wicket win, the winning runs coming with three balls to spare.
