Phoenix have signed Australian batsman Eknoor Singh as their overseas professional for the 2025 campaign.

The talented top-order player has scored heavily domestically in First-Grade cricket with Randwick Petersham - with whom Cricket Ireland have had an exchange programme for over a decade,

"Thrilled to announce Eknoor Singh as the club pro this year. Eknoor plays his club cricket with Randwick in Sydney and has also represented New South Wales," said the club on their Instagram account.

"Eknoor comes very highly rated with a huge bulk of runs in 1st grade in Sydney with 1,000 runs last season, and very likely to eclipse the same feat this season.

"Last weekend Eknoor was man of the match in the Sydney One Day Cup final where he led his Randwick side to victory with a majestic 125.

"Everyone at the club is looking forward to seeing Eknoor in the Park this summer."

Phoenix also confirmed that all-rounder Raghav Grover had joined the club, becoming the latest Terenure player to depart the club.

It won't be the end of the new recruits at Phoenix, with talks ongoing with a promising Northern Ireland based youth international.

Exciting times indeed at the Park!
