Eglinton's AGM on Wednesday night saw Ken Craig and John Pierce step down from their respective roles at the club.

Ken was Chairman of the village club for a total of 17 years over three spells, having played senior cricket there, also playing a major role as part of the grounds team.

Also calling time was John Pierce who had an incredible 31 years spell as the Club Secretary.

John was part of the Limavady Grammar School side that won the Schools Cup in the 70's, a feat emulated by his son Andy more than 30 years later - to date the only father and son from the school to have done so.

Like Ken, John played a pivotal role in making Eglinton's square and ground the envy of the region.

The pair certainly enjoyed their roles throughout the good times and bad, and leave the club in a position of strength.

Richard Spratt is the incoming Chairman, while Megan McClintock is the new Secretary.
