Samos have won the Pacific-France Women's Championship in New Caledonia with a dominant win over Vanuatu in the final.
It was Vanuatu who led the way after the round-robin stage with three wins in three games, with a highlight being the game against France when Selina Solman took four wickets for no runs in a single over. Samoa were second in the table with Fiji third and hosts France - with a team entirely made up of New Caledonia players - were last, losing all three games convincingly.
The last day started with a very closely fought third place play-off between France and Fiji. Both teams scored 77-9 in their respective innings, with a Super Over still not being enough to separate the teams with both scoring eight runs. Fiji were finally triumphant in a second Super Over.

Samoa had little trouble with their run chase, winning by nine wickets with 4.4 overs to spare. Fa'aiuga Sisfo top scored with an unbeaten 32.
