It was a historic 2024 campaign for Muckamore and new captain Sathish Suresh is hoping for more glory at Moylena as the new season dawns.
"First of all , it’s a tremendous honour to lead Muckamore Cricket Club as 1st XI captain," Suresh told CricketEurope.
"The squad has put in a fantastic shift over the winter, working hard indoors for the last three months, and the effort from everyone has been outstanding.
"We’re delighted to welcome back Sam, who will slot perfectly into the middle order, and Allen Coulter, whose experience and skill will further strengthen our bowling attack.
"We are fortunate to have a great mix of experience and emerging talent this season. Our most seasoned bowlers, Neil Gill and Allen Coulter, bring a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the attack, while young gun Ewan Wilson is an exciting prospect in the batting lineup. Alongside him, our standout batters, Ben Calitz and Jason van der Merwe, will be crucial in setting the tone at the crease.
