PHOENIX

Players In - Eknoor Singh, Ragav Grover
Players Out - Jack Lalor
Young player to watch - Andrew John and Daniel Sugrue

It was a memorable year for Phoenix as they won a thrilling decider in the Irish Senior Cup final to clinch the trophy for the second time.

They have a new professional in Eknoor Singh, while talented all-rounder Ragav Grover comes in from Terenure.

They have Irish internationals George Dockrell, Ben White and Tyrone Kane in their ranks and that trio will always ensure they are more than a match for any side on their day.

Adam Chester is once again at the helm, and he will have a former Irish international legend to be able to draw upon on the sidelines.

"Alan Lewis has joined the coaching team, and he will bring a huge amount of knowledge to the squad," said Chester.

"We are very happy with our pro Eknoor Singh - he looks a real talent and looking forward to seeing him in the park.

"Andrew John is a young player with huge potential. Only just 17 he’s a tall rangy left handed batter with immense power. Someone to really keep an eye on.

"We want to be competitive on all fronts this year, similar to last season. We will look forward to the All-Ireland again.

"We have a great blend of youth and experience in the squad, and we want to win more trophies."

There's no doubt with the quality and depth that Phoenix have in their ranks they will challenge again for major honours.
