Donemana captured the Premiership title on a dramatic last day in 2024, and they will once again be among the favourites for league glory this time around.

There's a familiar look to their squad with only a change of professional different. They have opted this time for Indian born Anuj Jotin, who seems to have played the majority of his recent cricket in Sri Lanka. He is a top-order batsman and off-spin bowler who will be looking to settle quickly into the Tyrone village.

Gary McClintock is once again the man in charge of Donemana. and he is looking for further success in 2025.

"We have pretty much the same side as last year that served us so well," said McClintock. "Gary Neely I think is going to play with seconds which will be a huge miss for us as he was a brilliant bowler for us in the last couple of years.

"Raymond Curry and David O'Sullivan are both back from playing cricket in Australia and we have gone with a new professional this year.

"I think we all know the strength of our first side with 'Scra' (Andy McBrine) available to us so there is no reason why we won’t be competing for the league title again and of course we all would love to win the Senior Cup again.

"One of our young players to watch for the future will be Isaac Black who is a great young bowler and we hope to see him progress this year."

There's no doubting that Donemana will benefit from Ireland's barren summer schedule, and with the talismanic McBrine galvanizing an already talented squad, more trophies could be Holm bound.
