NORTH COUNTY
Captain: Eddie Richardson
Overseas professional: Hunter Kindley
Players in: Jamie Grassi, Usman Azhar, and Mohammed Sherzad.

North County finished third in the Championship in 2024 and will ply their trade back in the extended Leinster Premiership this year.

Eddie Richardson takes over the captaincy armband and he will have a new overseas player plus three ins - two of whom are very familiar to the Balrothery side having played there previously.

New Zealander Hunter Kindley previously played with Malahide and with great success too, hitting four centuries and three 50s in 18 innings to average 55. In addition he claimed 32 wickets at 24.63 with his right-arm off-spin.

Jamie Grassi returns after spells with Phoenix and Malahide, while Usman Azhar is also back after a successful spell in the North West at Strabane.

Also joining is Mohammad Sherzad, with the all-rounder coming in from Knockharley where he enjoyed some success.

County also have a number of talented young players who will no doubt relish the opportunity to showcase their talent at the higher level.

It could be a tough season for North County but they have enjoyed a good close season adding depth and quality to their ranks.
