There's not much change at Armagh who enjoyed a successful season in 2024, with 11 wins in Section One earning them second place behind champions Templepatrick. The club will be hoping for another good season in an increasingly competitive league.

The Mall club have a new overseas player with South African all-rounder Luan Liebenberg replacing Quintin Dreyer, who has previous UK experience having spent two seasons in the Devon League.

Harry Boyd returns from Canada, while Samuel Wilson will be hoping his winter playing in Australia for Latrobe near Melbourne will stand him in good stead this year.

Skipper Michael Hoey has earmarked youngsters Ryan Hetherington, Matty and Josh Wilson as young players to keep an eye on.

"These are three lads who can cement their places in the seconds and push for games on the firsts," said Hoey.

"We are all looking forward to getting the season started on Saturday. Staying up around the top of the table is the aim for the year."
