KILLYCLOONEY
Captain: Kenzie Hall
Overseas professional: Aron Visser
Players in: none
Players out: none
Young player to watch: Alfie Moan
After the highs of their title challenging run of 2023, Killyclooney endured a tough 2024, finishing bottom of the Premiership, meaning they will play this season in the Championship.
To their credit they haven't lost any players, and that continuity will stand them in good stead as they attempt to mount a promotion challenge.
"We have opted for a change of professional this year again with 26-year-old South African all-rounder Aron Visser coming over," said a club spokesperson. "We are hopeful that he will hit the ground running and help out with both bat and ball.
"One player to watch is Alfie Moan, who has a bright future ahead of him if he keeps moving the way he has been. We have the same usual squad of players with a few younger faces hopefully pushing on and getting some senior cricket under their belts.
"Obviously, there is a change of captaincy this season as well with Kenzie Hall taking over the reins from Tim Dougherty. Hopefully we can get things going in the right direction early doors and complete for some much needed silverware."
