MCC continued their tour of Ireland with a 36-run win against Munster Heat at Farmers Cross on Tuesday.

Derriaghy's Reece Malone cleared the ropes five times in a 47-ball 67 - also hitting four fours - as MCC racked up 165 for 5 in their 20 overs.

Hamdullah Safi (2-13) was the pick of the Munster bowlers.

Monday's match against County Kerry fell victim to the weather.

MCC made 202 for seven in a 25-overs game with Mohit Sane (59no) and Ben Jarman (43) their main contributors.

In reply, Kerry had reached 109 for 5 in 16 overs - two wickets for Tomas Rooney-Murphy when the weather had the final say.

MCC are next in action on Thursday when they play Leinster Schools at Civil Service, while on Friday they play the Irish Universities at College Park.

Their tour of the North is from June 17-20, with games against Ulster Schools (Campbell), NCU U-19s (Stormont, Emerging Warriors (Ardmore), and NCU U1-17s (Stormont).
