MCC continued their Northern Ireland tour with an 18-run win against a young Emerging Warriors squad at Ardmore.

Evan Williams top-scored with an entertaining 35-ball 62 (6 fours, 4 sixes) sharing an eighth wicket stand of 61 with David Miller that rescued their side from a precarious 150 for seven.

There were runs too for James Hunter (33) , Ruairi Willis (30) and Jonathan Steele (26) in a total of 228 for nine, with three wickets apiece for Ryan Nolan and Bobby Brolly.

Nolan (49) and Brolly (47) were also in the runs for the Warriors, but they finished on 210 - three wickets each for Harry Dyer and Ruairi Willis, and two for Ehtesham Ahmed.

MCC finish the week on Friday with a match against the NCU Under 17s at Stormont.
