Donemana suffered their first loss of the season as they were beaten by Newbuildings in the semi final of the Faughan Valley Cup.
Ryan Hunter was the unlikely hero with the ball taking four wickets including a hat-trick as Donemana scored 186 for 9. Anuj Jotin hit 11 fours and three sixes in a 43-ball 71, while there were runs too Raymond Curry (28), Gary McClintock (21) and Billy Dougherty (20*).
Jason Dunn scored 52 (2 fours, 5 sixes) and Gareth McKeegan 49 (4 fours, 3 sixes) in an opening stand of 109 that put Newbuildings in control, but there were still a few nerves before Gregory McFaul's fourth six in an unbeaten 37 sealed the five-wicket win in the final over.
Newbuildings will now meet Brigade in the final at Ardmore on Sunday July 6th.
In the Sperrin Springs Cup Bonds Glen pulled off a shock as they knocked out Bready.
Johnny Haslett top-scored with 62 (9 fours, 2 sixes) as Bonds Glen made 166 for 8, with Josh Van Heerdon taking three wickets.
Van Heerdon hit an unbeaten 85 (5 fours, 6 sixes) as he and Jordan McCorkell (25*) added 91 in the chase, but Bready ended 15 runs short on 151 - two wickets for Sam Kincaid and Divan Posthumus.
Bonds Glen will meet Strabane in the decider next month - venue and date still tbc.
