Evan Gawley was the NCU hero as he rescued his side from a precarious 88 for 7 to post a match and title winning 239 against the NW at Foyle.

The Lisburn all-rounder thumped 11 fours and 7 sixes in a 90-run stand with Cregagh's Luke Duckett (29). Tyler Faulkner (3-29) and Jake Crumley (2-33) the best with the ball. Karthik Shukla (71) top-scored for the NW, but they fell short on 189. 

Leinster finished the Festival on a winning note as they beat the NW B team by five wickets.

The hosts made 91 for 9 with Harry Mowbray batting well in making an unbeaten 47. Aditya Sreenivas (3-7) and Patrick Woods (2-6) among the wicket takers.

Leinster chased it down in the 23rd over, with their player of the week Stephen O'Leary again top-scoring with 22, while Brody Molins - son of former Ireland captain Jason - making 21 and Sai Vivek 14 not out.
