Belgium's trip to Austria for four men's T20Is this weekend was not a happy one, with the hosts winning all four matches at the Velden Cricket Ground.

In the opening game yesterday Austria won the toss and put the visitors into bat. They racked up 215-4 from their 20 overs with openers Muhammad Muneeb and Aziz Mohammad scoring 71 and 50 respectively. Karanbir Singh then got Austria's chase off to a flier, clubbing 90 from only 35 balls including one four and 13 sixes. Captain Aqib Iqbal then hit an unbeaten 66 from 37 balls to secure a six wicket win.

In the second game yesterday, Karanbir Singh continued his big hitting, this time scoring 91 from 44 balls as Austria batted first and scored 211-4 from a rain interupted 17 overs. DLS adjusted Belgium's target to 221 from 17 overs and they fell short despite Shaheryar Butt scoring 91 from 53 balls. Their total was 182-8, a 38 run loss.

Belgium were put into bat in the morning game today and were bowled out for 154 thanks to Waqar Zalmai who took the last five wickets to fall including a hat-trick for the final three. Ranjit Singh then scored 51 from 33 balls as Austria chased down their target with ten balls to spare, winning by four wickets.

The final game this afternoon again saw Belgium bat first, this time after winning the toss, and they scored 144-9 from their 20 overs, Saber Zakil top scoring with 40 from 21 balls. Austrian captain Aqib Iqbal then scored an unbeaten 53 from 37 balls to secure a four wicket win with four deliveries remaining.
