Ireland U19's lost twice on Monday against an ECB XI on their week-long visit to Loughborough. They are participating in a four-team event alongside three ECB XI teams.
The first match was a 50 overs contest but Ireland found the going tough as they were bowled out for 102 inside 25 overs.
Abbi Harrison (25) and Annabel Squires (23) added 49 for the fifth wicket, but there were four ducks in a disappointing effort.
Kent's Jem Spence then hit 10 fours and a six in a 41-ball 59, adding 75 in just 9 for the first wicket with Charlotte Stubbs (30) on the way to an eight-wicket win in the 14th over.
The early finish led both teams to agree to an additional T20 game, and this time the Irish side put up a much better showing in a 29-run loss.
Freya Davies made a 37-ball 56 (10 fours) as the ECB posted 162 for 8 - three wickets for Bready's Millie Spence and two for Anna Ellerby.
Waringstown's Abbi Harrison again top-scored for the Girls In Green, her 30-ball 36 included 6 fours, while there were runs too for Rebecca Lowe (23*) and Alice Tector (22) in a total of 133 for 8.
Ireland are back in action on Tuesday with another 50-overs contest.
