Rush have confirmed the signing of New Zealander Isaac Bird for the 2026 season.
The 23-year-old is an Irish passport holder and enjoyed a successful 2025 at NW Championship club Ballyspallen.
He scored 1020 runs at 53.13 which included four fifties and three hundreds.
His off-spin also proved handy as he collected 38 wickets at 17.83, and he also showed a safe pair of hands in the field as he took 19 catches.
Bird's form caught the eye of NW Warriors Head Coach Boyd Rankin and he represented them at interprovincial level.
His signing will be a major boost for Rush who operated throughout 2025 without a professional.
