Eglinton have confirmed their overseas professional for the 2026 season, as well as announcing the appointment of Barry Scott as Head Coach.

Sri Lankan batsman Dunith Jayatunga will be playing for the club with the right-hander averaging just over 22 in both first-class and List-A cricket.
A part-time leg-spinner, he has taken two wickets in professional cricket, while he can also operate as a wicket-keeper.
Dunith has previous UK experience, scoring 800 runs at almost 50 as well as taking 30 wickets for Earby in the North West of England in 2025.
The club have also addded to their coaching set-up with the appointment of Bary Scott as Head Coach.
Barry has a wealth of experience at all levels, and is sure to be a real asset for the village club as they look to bounce back to the Premiership next year.
